- Lead Section: This is the initial structural point of load transfer. It consists of a 2.875-inch RCS diameter galvanized steel shaft with an attached helix that screws into bearing soil.
- Extensions: These are threaded pipe segments used to connect to the lead section. They extend the pier’s depth until the system reaches competent load-bearing strata.
- Underpinning Brackets: These manufactured attachment brackets connect the pier shaft to the existing foundation. Contractors can choose from standard, narrow, or offset configurations depending on the specific load path and excavation clearance of the project.
- Hardware: Complete kits include all required installation accessories, such as bolts and nuts, to ensure the assembly is ready for immediate delivery and use.
For a comprehensive repair, it is often recommended to bundle these kits with other wholesale products. For example, if a foundation has also suffered lateral movement or structural damage, you might also need plate anchors for wall stabilization or concrete crack repair kits (including epoxy and stitching bars) to seal structural cracks.
